My god, this was such an intense visual novel. I love how there was truly real consequences and the way that Marlowe was so affected by everything. I love the design of this visual novel, everything was designed so well and uniquely made for the vn down to the microscope part at the setting and the cool little tricks that were made like typing at Spooktgle (lol). I also love how unique the story is, like, I think the amoeba one kinda reminds me about Venom but here, there truly is a real sense of death. The sense of urgency that is felt throughout those 10 days?? Absolutely chilling.


And meeting Niall and seeing how disconnected he is from the true horrors he's inflicting Marlowe. Just, perfect to how absolutely blind he is. I mean yeah, he's an amoeba (I genuinely didn't expect someone to "anime"-fy an amoeba... Genuinely) and also a parasite. The fact that there wasn't any explicit violence or subtle manipulation that is prevalent in many visual novels that feature a yandere (because as I played, I came to the conclusion that Niall is in fact a yandere), here there is hardly any of that, and instead it just use psychological horror. Especially with the family focus because the intention is pure (Marlowe wanting a family to love, Niall wanting a "family" because it's a species thing) and how absolutely twisted it all was when these two versions of "family" collided.


I'm so sorry for this long comment, I just have a lot of emotions at this visual novel. Like, it felt so long BUT IT WASN'T?! When you cram a lot of stuff in like, days in a case, it can feel overwhelming and rushed. But this was paced so well that it felt like the days were getting short even though so much was happening. The way the plot built itself in order for the series of events to happen is so cool and just, the art and design of this visual novel is so top tier I cannot, I'll gush about it, I swear I will.


After destroying the Twisted, Aya awoke back in her cell in December 24, 2013. Hyde arrived to tell her that Cray had been killed and she was going to be sent back three days to save him. However, Owen was with him and said they wouldn't be allowed to perform that kind of mission. He then tried to shoot Aya, but Hyde talked him out of it. The men then left the cell to talk elsewhere, as Owen said Aya was like one of the Twisted.


A couple of hours later, Aya was about to be sent back three days to infiltrate the Babel at the Spanish Harlem, destroy the Big Orb, and save Cray. Although the team was going to follow Owen's orders to destroy the Orb at the same time, Blank knew that Owen really wanted the CTI to fall apart so he could return to his real post at the FBI, and didn't really believe that the past can be changed. To take Cray's place during the operation, Owen and Hyde appointed Gabrielle Monsigny to help guide Aya during the campaign. Gabrielle turned into a large flying Twisted and began attacking Aya. Leon finds out Ashley is being held in a church and rescues her.[16] They both escape from the church after Osmund Saddler (Michael Gough), leader of Los Iluminados, reveals his plan to use the parasite they injected into Ashley to manipulate her into injecting the president of the United States with a "sample" once she returns home, allowing Saddler to begin his conquest of the world.[17]

Kobayashi was responsible for the design of some of the final game's enemies, such as the Regenerators.[62] Kobayashi described the creatures' origins within universe lore as byproducts of Los Iluminados' research into bio organic weapons, malformed creations implanted with multiple Plaga parasites during the experimentation process.[63] Regenerators are designed to take distinct heavy breaths before they are seen, which alerts the player to their presence. When encountered, often in small confined spaces, they would walk slowly towards the player character. The Regenerator is capable of continuously regenerating itself and cannot easily be dispatched unless the player is able to find the Plaga parasites within its body, which can only be seen with the infrared scope, and specifically target them first.[64][65][66][67] During an interview with Famitsu, Mikami explained that elements like the Regenerators help maintain the survival horror aspect of Resident Evil 4 as a balance between a "scary kind of gameplay and the challenge of overcoming that fear", with the goal of giving players a sense of achievement when they manage to overcome the monster.[68]
